A- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health
Entry Requirements
1) – Direct Entry;
O level certificate with at least 5 credits in the following subjects;
English, Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition
A level certificate with at least one principle pass in Biology and 2 subsidiaries in
the following subjects ;
Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition
2) – Mature Entry
O level certificate with at least 5 passes in the following subjects;
English, Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, chemistry, Biology, Food and Nutrition
Or A certificate in Health related courses with a registered institution – Allied Health
Professional council (AHPC) and Uganda Nurses and Midwifery council – UNMC
Duration: 3 years
Tuition fees per semester: 1,200,000/=
B – Diploma in Pharmacy
Entry Requirements: A level certificate with at least one principle pass in Chemistry
and 2 subsidiaries in the following subjects ;
Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, Biology
Or A certificate in Health related courses with a registered institution – Allied Health
Professional council (AHPC) and Uganda Nurses and Midwifery council – UNMC
Duration: 3 years
Tuition fees per semester: 1,200,000/=
C – Diploma in Biomedical Engineering
Entry Requirements: A level certificate with at least one principle pass in either
Physics or Mathematics or holders of certificates in any engineering fields can
apply for this course.
Duration: 2 years
Tuition fees per semester: 1,500,000/=
D – Diploma in Early Childhood Development and social care
Entry Requirements: A level certificate with at least one principle pass in any
subject or an equivalent.
Duration: 3 years
Tuition fees per semester: 950,000/=
E – Diploma in Medical Records Management and informatics;
Entry Requirements: O level certificate with at least 5 passes ;
Or A level certificate with at least one(1) principle pass and 2 two subsidiary passes
obtained at the same sitting or its equivalent.
Note: The principal pass should be from one of the following subjects;
Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, chemistry, Biology, Food and
Nutrition, geography, computer science
Duration: 3 years
Tuition fees per semester: 600,000/=
F – Diploma in Public Health
Direct Entry
A level certificate with A principle pass in science subjects or an equivalent is a
must.
And/or MUST have passed at least 5 subjects English and Mathematics inclusive at
O level
Mature Entry
A certificate in a professional course in such subjects as;
Nursing, Laboratory, Midwifery, Technology etc. from any institution accredited by
NCHE with at least one year of experience
Duration: 2 years

G – Diploma in Integrated Primary Healthy Care
Entry Requirements: O level certificate with a credit in ; – Biology and chemistry –
and at least 5 passes in the following subjects; – English , Mathematics, Physics
OR A’ level certificate with at least a principal pass in either Biology or Chemistry
and a subsidiary in the following subjects;
Mathematics, Physics, Agriculture, Food and Nutrition obtained in the same sitting
Duration: 2 years
H- Diploma in HIV / AIDS, community& Social care
Entry Requirements: A’ level certificate with at least a principal pass and (2) two
subsidiary passes obtained in the same sitting
Mature Entry;
A certificate in a relevant area of study or its equivalent from a recognized
institution,
